  1. To provide informal, voluntary and confidential one-on-one support or peer-led group sessions for BCAPP member physicians going through professional or personal challenges. 
  2. To form a network of support for all BCAPP members to promote a culture of trust and well-being in the organization.
  3. To facilitate physician wellness programs encompassing stress management, conflict resolution, professional resilience and lifestyle management.


  1. Sessions will aim to create a psychologically safe space for members to share experiences with a focus on empathetic listening. 
  2. The committee will hold quarterly virtual or in-person meetings, as decided by committee members, for strategic planning of events.
  3. Group session dates for broader membership will be posted periodically on this page. 
  4. Physicians are encouraged to email committee leads if they want to be a part of the healer’s hub.

  2. We aspire to bring young physicians and medical students of Pakistani descent together to create a cohesive support group and foster networking. 
  3. We aim to arrange regular information sessions on undergraduate and basic science courses, clinical clerkships, residency applications, choosing a specialty, and more. 
  4. We want to encourage high school and University students within the Pakistani community to strive towards their passion of pursuing a medical career and feel supported along the way.

  1. Provide networking opportunities to help women physicians  of BCAPP to connect with one another, share ideas and resources, and build relationships that can lead to career advancement and other opportunities.
  2. Support professional development by  providing training, mentoring, and other resources to help women in the field improve their skills and advance their careers.
  3. To help  raise awareness and advocate for change around  specific issues related to  women in healthcare, such as gender bias, pay inequalities and work-life balance.
  4. Promote women's health by  raising awareness of women's health issues, supporting research in women's health, and advocating for policies and programs that improve access to healthcare for women.
  5. Promote gender equality and diversity in the medical profession by advocating for policies and programs that support women and to provide a forum for discussions around the  unique challenges that women face as healthcare providers.
